Who is Zombie Girl?
Zombie Girl is a relatively new artist in my library, but one who I’ve grown very fond of. Her music is somewhere between Dark Electro & Industrial with a good dose of humor. ZG's real name is Renee Cooper and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she might just be a fan of B horror films, just a guess.

Style
Zombie Girl does a bit of industrial, electronic, and even edges her way into EBM every once in awhile. Truly a diverse and strong artist and one I hope to be able to experience in concert one of these days. One of my favorite things about ZG is the injection of rock and roll right into the heart of their sound. All of the inspirations that go into the music create a great deal of variation between songs and also make for a certain freshness between albums & EP's.
Zombie Girl is an awesome venture for any fans of rock, industrial, or zombies. Her albums are pretty cheap, no more than $8 over at amazon.com.
Her facebook page continues to be updated fairly regularly so Zombie Girl is still out there making music and eating human flesh. The last EP dropped in 2009 so she is about due for some new material to hit the airwaves and I am to understand that they are being written as you read this. Ok, maybe not, right now right now, time zones and all, but you get the idea (Did I mention this act is based in Canada?). This is usually the point where I say "what else do you want? Zombies?", but uh, you're getting those too! Big things are in store for ZG, don't miss out!

I do this for my readers, but I try to avoid doing it at the expense of anyone else, and so my sincerest apologies go to to Renee Cooper, I meant no offense and I hope this re-release shows that.
